
Chocolate Fondant
A delectable dessert with a molten center, perfect for special occasions or a sweet treat.
Ingredients
- 150g Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate
- 50g butter
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 50g flour
- 1 tsp salt
- Icing sugar, for dusting
Instructions
- Chop the Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate into small pieces and set aside.
- In a heatproof bowl over simmering water, whisk together the whole eggs, egg yolk, and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the melted chocolate, flour, and salt to the egg mixture. Mix until well combined.
- Refrigerate the batter overnight to firm up.
- Grease four metal rings and line a baking tray.
- Form balls from the chilled batter and press them into the greased rings on the tray.
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F). Bake the fondants for 15–20 minutes, until the outer edges are set but the centers remain soft.
- Carefully remove the fondants from the rings, dust with icing sugar, and serve immediately.
