Strawberry, Mint, and Lime Infused Rooibos Iced Tea

A refreshing summer beverage combining the rich flavors of rooibos tea with fresh strawberries, mint, and lime.

Equipment

  • Heatproof jug
  • Refrigerator
  • Glasses for serving
  • Spoon for mashing

Ingredients

  • 2 Freshpak Rooibos teabags
  • 500 ml boiling water
  • 250 ml berry juice
  • Fresh strawberries
  • Fresh mint sprigs
  • 1 lime, sliced
  • Ice cubes
  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the Freshpak Rooibos teabags into a heatproof jug and pour the boiling water over them. Allow to steep for 5 minutes.
  2. Remove the teabags and let the tea cool to room temperature.
  3. Once cooled, add the berry juice and a few mint sprigs to the tea. Place the jug in the refrigerator until chilled.
  4. To serve, fill glasses with fresh strawberries, mashing them gently at the bottom with a spoon. Add ice cubes, lime slices, and mint leaves. Pour the chilled rooibos tea over the mixture.
  5. Sweeten with honey if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!
